Precautions for steel grating construction

With the further development of the national economy, the steel grating construction engineering is developing faster and faster. How to work safely and reliably at high altitude is an important topic for the research on the safety production management of steel grating engineering construction. Steel grating construction enterprises must formulate and improve a systematic safety production management system in combination with the actual situation of the project, and allocate special safety production management institutions and personnel to ensure the normal implementation of safety production management on the steel grating construction site. Taking effective protective measures to improve the safety level of high-altitude operation at the construction site and effectively prevent the occurrence of accidents such as high-altitude falling of high-rise buildings is of great significance to prevent high-rise safety accidents and improve the development of high-quality construction of the project. The laying of steel grating is a high-risk work. In view of the danger of this work, safety disclosure shall be made to the construction personnel to prevent accidents.

technical requirement

1. The grid plates shall be carefully selected on the ground. After selection, they shall be numbered according to the sequence of installation positions and hoisted to the installation position. The temporary stacking place shall be more than 1000mm away from the edge of the platform, and the stacking height shall not exceed 1000mm.

2. When lifting the grid plate, it must be tied firmly, and a slip rope or brace must be used. The lifting is commanded by professional lifting personnel. The hook can be removed only after the grid plate is placed stably and firmly.

3. The grid plates must be laid and installed in an orderly manner according to the requirements of the drawings. The laid grid plates must be fixed in time to prevent the safety risks caused by the grid plates' movement, displacement, sliding, overturning, etc.

4. The installation spacing of the grid plate is 0-15mm, and it should be adjusted during installation.

5. All grid plates are connected with the platform frame by welding, and 10mm gap is reserved at the back of handrail channel steel limb.

6. All grid plates are matched with the frame, and grid plates of other sizes are cut on site.

Safety precautions

1. Apply for the grating installation / removal permit before the construction of grating, and implement the corresponding safety measures; During installation, the grid plate shall be fixed by bolts or welding. If it cannot be fixed by welding, it shall be bound and fixed with double strand No. 8 iron wire. The construction personnel shall not walk and work on the grid plate without fixing it.

2. Before the installation of grid plate, the lifeline must be set to ensure the safety belt of construction personnel is fastened.

3. For the edges and holes produced during the laying process, the person in charge of the operation must take effective protective measures in time to enclose, block and warn.

4. There shall be no other operators under the grid plate laying operation area, and the area where organisms may fall must be enclosed, blocked and warned.

5. The grid plate shall be laid piece by piece, and it is strictly prohibited to lay by jumping.

6. When the grid plates are hoisted in bundles, they should be tied firmly, and the hoisting personnel should strictly abide by the hoisting regulations.

7. When lifting the grid plate, the warning area shall be enclosed, and the lifting machinery used shall be checked to be qualified. All machines, tools, equipment, ropes, shackles, rope clamps, etc. shall be checked and confirmed by the lifting personnel before use, and can be used only after they are qualified. Lifting operators shall hold "special operation qualification certificate".

8. The grid plates that have not been installed shall be bundled and fixed in time to prevent the grid plates from falling.

9. When cutting and welding grating plates, necessary fire prevention measures shall be taken below the hot work point to place fire accidents.

10. It is strictly forbidden to place mechanical equipment or materials on the grating plate that exceed the load borne by the grating plate.

11. It is strictly prohibited to install the grating plate under the adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, strong wind, lightning and poor light.

12. During the laying operation of the grid plate, it is strictly prohibited to drag the grid plate with the hook on the safety belt of the construction personnel, hemp rope, iron wire, etc. When more than one person works, they should cooperate with each other. The operators should stand in a safe position, arrange special personnel for unified command, and ensure that 100% of the operators wear safety belts.

13. After the installation of the grid plate, the steel ties and other sundries should be recycled in time to prevent object strike accidents.
